The Team

Sandy
Co-Founder
Sandy (with Pallav, the wife and husband team behind the Clinic), always had a dream to have a clinic where top-quality medical care and conversations could be delivered in a comfortable and relaxed manner. They envisioned it being timely, hassle-free, with nice ambience, and in a convenient setting. Riverside location on Newnham Road provided them that ideal location.
Entrepreneurs at 50, they are most excited and proud to bring a fresh choice to the people of Cambridge and surrounding areas. Their ambition is to keep it all rather plain and simple: good care when you need it, by experienced clinicians, in a manner that is not rushed.

Sandy is the Practice Manager with background in Economics and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management, and Pallav is a Consultant in Emergency Medicine in the NHS. Together with a strong team of clinicians they feel the Clinic can address most issues patients face and are often let down due to resource crunch in NHS.

Dr Pallav Bhatnagar
Urgent Care Consultant
MBBS MS FRCEM
A co‑founder with Sandy, Dr Pallav is also a Consultant in Emergency Medicine and Clinical Director at the Clinic. With over 25 years of experience in the acute setting within the NHS, he is well versed in managing a wide range of urgent medical and surgical scenarios in children, adults, and older patients.

Although the Clinic does not manage medical emergencies, his expertise in assessing urgent issues—such as headaches, chest pain, abdominal pain, and ongoing vague symptoms—is invaluable. He complements the skills that GPs bring to the Clinic, and together with the two specialists in Endocrinology and Rheumatology, they are able to work through most problems or dilemmas patients face.

As Clinical Director, he oversees the quality of clinical care and the overall patient experience. He frequently coordinates discussions among clinicians about the needs of individual patients, ensuring that multiple doctors contribute their expertise so patients receive the best value from their care.

With his background, he is able to perform a wide range of minor procedures—including joint injections, catheter changes, abscess drainage, suturing, and burn care—with ease, and patients are already benefiting from his experience.
