WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

Please bring all your medications. Know your allergies. It will help to have your NHS app open to access any relevant information. Please bring any relevant clinic letters you may have. It may take longer during first consultation to understand your medical state fully.

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?

We believe patients must have enough time to describe not only their problem but have enough time to explore their concerns and worries. A GP or Urgent Care consultation costs £125. It is paid online at the time of online booking prior to the appointment. Minor procedures or investigations such as catheter change, abscess drainage, dressing change, ECG have their separate charges. You would be informed of them beforehand.

WHAT IS SEEN AT THE CLINIC?

We would be happy to see you to provide consultations for most medical conditions. We offer joint injections for pain relief, insertion and replacement of urinary catheters, change of dressings, removal of stitches and insertion of contraceptive hormonal implant. While we are working on bringing specialists to our clinic, we can directly refer you to Nuffield or Spire hospitals for specialist opinion. Please use Get-In-Touch form to enquire and we will call you back. Please note any acute or urgent situation requiring same-day blood tests may be advised to go to A&E.

WHAT IS CANCELLATION POLICY?

You can cancel upto same date before the scheduled appointment without incurring any cost. Cancellation on the day or a no show would incur charge of £60. This is to make sure we can give most appointments and more patients benefit.

WHAT IF I NEED TESTS?

If you need blood tests, swabs or ECG, we will advise you the cost before the tests. They would be done the same week. The results can take a day to few days depending upon the test. For X-ray, CT, ultrasound or MRI scans, we would refer you to our affiliated partners.

HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?

There are appointments all days at different times. Please call or send a text to 07593157425 or submit the online form and we will call you back. We have GPs, Urgent Care Consultants and specialists such as Rheumatologist, Endocrinologist and Gastroenterologist who can figure out things you may be suffering from and not getting anywhere.

WHAT IS NOT TREATED HERE?

Acutely disturbed mental health issues, severe pain, early pregnancy and obstetrics related problems are not treated at the moment. Any acute condition that requires immediate A&E attendance would be advised to call 999.

We are not able to provide advice to patients not in the UK at the time of consultation.  And lastly, please note that we do not prescribe schedule 2 or 3 controlled drugs from our clinics.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

We are in the building of Cambridge Dental. It is easily accessible for walking patients and there is public paid parking few steps away next to the green. Parking is via Ring Go app location ID 16742. Disabled parking and access is in the back of the building. Please let us know at the time of booking if you would need assistance. On your arrival, the receptionist let the doctor know and they will come and greet you.

HOW CAN I WORK WITH YOU?

We are constantly partnering up with professionals who can add value and help our patients. You may be a GP or a specialist consultant. Please reach out via ‘Get in Touch’ form and we will call you back.

WHY DO I HAVE TO FILL OUT THE FORMS?

Due to a highly regulated nature of our work, prior to the consultation, you’ll be asked to sign some of the forms such as consent form, agreeing to our T&Cs and providing your accurate medical history. They are important for us to be able to look after you confidently so please bear with us.

CAN I REQUEST MY RECORDS?

Your care is only as good as the information your doctor has. To make your care continuous, a password protected pdf can be emailed to your preferred email address if you’d like to have it. Please let the doctor know. It’ll be with you in one working week.

DO YOU DO HOME VISIT?

Yes we do home visits! We can do consultation and arrange blood tests at your home. Doctor's visit is charged at £300 for a travel time of 20 minutes from the clinic.

WHAT IF I AM NOT SATISFIED?

Please contact the Practice Manager via Get-in-Touch form and they will try to resolve your complaint.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT OUT OF A CONSULTATION?

After clinical assessment, the doctor will have a discussion with you and recommend treatment options. It can end with a prescription or may require further tests and a review in a follow-up appointment. Not all conditions require medications as a treatment and watchful observation of symptoms may be the best option at times. Our promise is that your care will be safe and effective. Our service will be caring and responsive to your needs.

I WOULD LIKE A WELLNESS CHECK...

We are sure you'll agree that early accurate detection of disease is better than treating it when it's more advanced. A wellness check can explore such issues. It’ll typically include two consultations, ECG, lung function, BMI and blood tests. Discussion for an appropriate scan will also take place as needed. Our affiliated partner hospitals in Cambridge will be happy to accommodate you at short notice.

RECORDING CONSULTATIONS

We may audio record the consultation. When done in partnership with yourself, it is a very useful method to remember the conversation, so fewer chances of missing important bits, leading to a higher quality care. It also protects you as well as doctors from unpleasant accusations. While doing so we will always protect your privacy and dignity. The recording will not be shared with anyone unless there's a lawful reason to do so.

GIVE US FEEDBACK

Please give us feedback when things go wrong or they were good or you think we can try new things/ way of providing our service. We want our service to be an exemplar and a driver for a positive change to not only an individual's life and wellbeing but that of the community at large. We encourage our staff to do the same. Please use the Get-in-Touch form for any suggestions. Thank you!
